When we are doing 4th axis wrap in V24, Why the output of ”A” axis is always absolute, regardless of whatever you do.”X” and ”Z” axis is in incremental but not ”A”. How to correct this?

I am having problems saving mill tools in V24. The only way I have found to create and save tools is to open BoBCAD, create or modify the tool, save and exit the program. Tools created or modified are never saved while working on a part. Thanks Jim

Try this post . It’s for a Prototrak MX3 that I ran for a long time . It may be close enough for the AGE3 control .

I am wondering if there is any way to eidt the post code. I have been trying a tap cycle and on my Fanuc i need to insert an M29. Is there any way that i can add that into my post manager so that i do not have to go add it to the program in my post editor, in interest of saving time at the machine?

  Your post is just a text file… If you open it you can see where stuff is… Yould could hard code it in place by putting quotes “” around the actual text, or use the commands and variables available, like if that is rigid tapping start or end or something, then I think there is a command called rigid_tapping_start that then is defined with…[Read more]
